Matt’s interest in photography started as a child, taking pictures with his Dad’s old Pentax, moving into instant and Kodak Disc Film throughout childhood. The advent and accessibility of digital photography removed the cost barrier to keep shooting, and a passion was born. Fast forward to now, he’s spent nearly 15 years shooting digital SLR and film photos at weddings, landscapes, outdoor events, wildlife and most recently concerts. Armed with a some trusty but classic devices, and the occasional use of newer sensors too, Matt shoots frequently with his Canon 5D MkII, occasionally his 1DmkIII, and more recently using a Canon R6 for lowlight events.
